DSK Legal advised Shree Mahalaxmi Co-operative Housing Society Limited on grant of development rights to Kalpataru Limited

DSK Legal advised Shree Mahalaxmi Co-operative Housing Society Limited (“Society”), located at Andheri (West), Mumbai, on the grant of development rights in respect of its property admeasuring around 3 acres to Kalpataru Limited.

The firm guided the Society through the redevelopment process in compliance with guidelines issued under Section 79A of the Maharashtra Co-operative Societies Act, 1960, assisting in negotiating, drafting, vetting, and finalising the Redevelopment Agreement, Power of Attorney, and all other ancillary documents, including the permanent alternative accommodation agreement and members’ consent. DSK Legal strategically structured the transaction to ensure that the Society’s legal and financial interests were adequately secured.
