Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised GMR Nagpur International Airport Limited on INR 2607 crore term loan facility

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) advised as legal counsel to GMR Nagpur International Airport Limited (“Borrower”), a wholly owned subsidiary of GMR Airports Limited, in connection with a rupee term loan facility aggregating to INR 2,607 crore provided by Tata Capital Limited (“Lender”).

The facility is being availed for part financing the estimated project cost of INR 3,725 crore, covering upgradation, development, and operation of the brownfield Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur, Maharashtra. The project scope includes civil and mechanical works, electrical works, terminal building, cargo facilities, runway, and all project assets necessary for and associated with the operation and expansion of the airport under the concession agreement executed between the Borrower and MIHAN India Limited (“MIHAN”).

The Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas team was led by Ajay Sawhney (Partner & Head – Northern Region) and Bhupendra Verma (Partner), with support from Vaibhav Shrivastav (Consultant) and Nikhil Gupta (Associate).
