Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Dixon Technologies (India) Limited. on Acquisition of 51% Stake in Q Tech India
The leading law firm in India, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Dixon Technologies (India) Limited (“Dixon”) in connection with its acquisition of a 51% shareholding in Kunshan Q Tech Microelectronics (India) Limited (“Q Tech India”) through a combination of primary and secondary investment. The transaction enables collaboration in manufacturing, sale, and distribution of camera and fingerprint modules for mobile handsets, Internet of Things (IoT) systems, and automotive applications.(“ Transaction”).
The transaction involved conducting comprehensive legal due diligence on Q Tech India and executing the transaction documents, including the share subscription & purchase agreement and the shareholders’ agreement. Upon completion, Dixon holds 51% shareholding in Q Tech India, while Q Technology (Singapore) Private Limited holds 49%.
