Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Aditya Birla Fashion And Retail On Listing Of Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (“CAM”) advised Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Limited (“ABFRL”) as sole legal counsel on the listing of Aditya Birla Lifestyle Brands Limited (“ABLBL”) on BSE Limited and the National Stock Exchange of India Limited. The listing was undertaken pursuant to the vertical demerger of the Madura Fashion and Lifestyle business from ABFRL by way of a scheme of arrangement under Sections 230–232 of the Companies Act, 2013.
The transaction signifies a strategic restructuring within the Aditya Birla Group, aimed at enhancing the focus and value of its lifestyle brands portfolio in the Indian fashion market.
The CAM team advising on the corporate aspects of the transaction was led by Pranay Chandran (Partner), with support from Sayali Jadhav (Senior Associate), Shrishti Singh (Senior Associate), Isha Tandon (Associate), Naman Jain (Associate), and Ajitesh Arya (Associate).
