Clifford Chance and Freshfields advised on Chuangxin Industries’ HK$5.5 billion ($708 million) Hong Kong listing
Clifford Chance, Commerce & Finance Law Offices, and Campbells advised Chuangxin Industries, a China-based aluminium smelter, on its HK$5.5 billion ($708 million) listing in Hong Kong.
Freshfields and Jingtian & Gongcheng served as counsel to the joint sponsors, China International Capital Corp and Huatai Financial Holdings, as well as to the underwriters of the offer. The listing proceeds will be allocated to expand overseas production capacity, including building a new aluminium smelter and installing equipment, and toward green energy projects such as constructing power plants and purchasing related equipment.
