
Law Centre-II, University of Delhi, invites scholarly articles for the second edition of its bi-annual Educational Newsletter. Contributions are to be submitted on or before 10th September 2025.
About the Newsletter
AI-पत्रिका is a biannual educational newsletter by Law Centre-II, University of Delhi, dedicated to exploring the evolving intersection of artificial intelligence and law. Aimed at academicians, legal professionals and students, it provides tracking of and insights into AI governance, legal frameworks, policy developments, notable cases, and other legal issues surrounding AI at both national and international levels. With a strong focus on fostering informed dialogue, this publication equips readers to engage with and shape the future of AI law in India and beyond.

Themes
As stated in the introductory edition, launched on 5th of April, 2025, the upcoming edition will focus on the following two themes:
- Intersection of Artificial Intelligence with Intellectual Property Law (Legal, Ethical and Regulatory challenges).
- How Important Jurisdictions in Asia are addressing legal challenges related to Artificial Intelligence.
We invite original and unpublished articles on the above mentioned themes from all faculty members and students of law for the upcoming edition. Submissions should provide insightful analysis, recent developments, and comparative perspectives.
General Instructions
- Submissions will be accepted from faculty members and students only.
- Single author articles should not be longer than 800 words (excluding endnotes but including everything else like the heading, the name and designation of the author, the standfirst, etc.).
- Co-authorship is allowed upto a maximum of 2 co-authors and such co-authored articles should not be longer than 1800 words (excluding endnotes but including everything else like the heading, the names and designations of the authors, the standfirst, etc.).
- Submissions should be in Arial, font size 10 with 1.15 line spacing, justified text, divided into two columns of equal width and normal margins (2.54 cm from each side of the A4 sheet).
- Heading of the article should be in bold Arial, font size 12 with 1.15 line spacing and centered text and should not be longer than 10 words.
- The heading of the article should be followed by author details: the name, the designation of the author(s) and the email address (optional) in Arial, font size 8 with 1.15 line spacing and centered text.
- The above should be followed by a standfirst (a brief introductory summary of the article) in italicised Arial, font size 10 with 1.15 line spacing and justified text.
- Subheadings within the article should be in bold Arial, font size 10 with 1.15 line spacing and justified text. Sub-subheadings should be avoided.
- Endnotes should be in Arial, font size 8 with 1.0 line spacing and should conform to APA 6th edition citation style. Footnotes are not allowed.
- Plagiarism: The article submitted should not be copied or plagiarised from other published work. Authors should ensure that their work is original and has not been previously published, and is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. Furthermore, it must be ensured that the work does not infringe upon any copyright or proprietary right of any third party. A similarity of not more than 10%, which is properly accounted for by adequate references, is allowed.
Submission Procedure
- Submissions must be emailed at [email protected] (in .docx format) along with a covering letter.
- The covering letter should include the following details:
- Name of the author(s);
- Designation of the author(s);
- Contact number(s);
- Heading of the article;
- A declaration stating
- That the submission is original and has not been previously published nor is it currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
- That the work is not copied or plagiarised from other published work.
- That the similarity index of the submitted article with already published work does not exceed 15% and that any similarities have been properly cited with exhaustive references.
- That the article will not be submitted elsewhere while it is in process of review and publication in AI-पत्रिका
- That the author(s) understand that the copyright over the submitted article, if published in the newsletter, shall vest with Law Centre II alone.
- All submissions must be made in .docx format. No pdf format shall be entertained.
- The subject of the email should be “Article submission second edition”.
Deadline for Submissions
10th September, 2025. Please note that the earlier date of 31st August, 2025, as mentioned in the introductory edition, stands modified by this notice.
