The Bar Council of India (BCI) has issued an updated list of Centers of Legal Education (CLEs) that are prohibited from admitting students into law degree courses for the academic year 2025–2026 and subsequent years until further notice. These institutions have failed to meet the required standards prescribed under the Legal Education Rules, and any degree obtained from these centers during the period of prohibition will not be recognised for enrolment as an advocate.

Advisory to Students and Parents
Students and guardians are advised not to seek admission to these institutions under any circumstances until the BCI lifts the prohibition. Any degree granted during the prohibition period shall be considered invalid for legal practice in India.
