Baker McKenzie advised JINGDONG Property, the infrastructure investment and asset management arm of JD.com, China’s largest retailer and global supply chain technology and service provider, on its landmark logistics and warehousing joint venture with Abu Dhabi Airports.
The collaboration will include the development of cutting-edge logistics facilities within the Abu Dhabi Airports Free Zone (ADAFZ), reinforcing the UAE’s position as a regional logistics and innovation hub and a vital link between China and global markets.
Baker McKenzie provided end-to-end legal counsel on the transaction, drawing on its deep regional expertise and cross-border capabilities.

The deal Baker McKenzie was led by Keri Watkins, Partner and Co-Head of the Real Estate and Hospitality Practice Group in the Middle East, and Patrick McGregor, Corporate M&A Senior Associate.
