AZB & Partners Advised Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited on OFS of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited Shares
The leading Indian law firm, AZB & Partners recently advised Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited (“Broker”) in connection with the sale of 174,209,815 equity shares, representing 5.00% of the total issued and paid-up equity share capital of Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), aggregating to approximately INR 4,470.55 million.
The shares were sold by the President of India, acting through and represented by the Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India, by way of an offer for sale (OFS) through the stock exchange mechanism.
