In an exciting opportunity for young IP enthusiasts to showcase their writing and analytical skills, we’re thrilled to announce the SpicyIP–jhana Blogpost Writing Competition, 2025, organized in collaboration with jhana. As explained here, jhana is a platform and a tool for lawyers, offering access to legal datasets and AI assistants enabling legal research, review, and drafting.
The competition will run for six weeks, starting today and ending on 30th December, during which shortlisted entries will be published on the blog after review by the SpicyIP team. The top three entries will be announced on the blog in early January 2026.
Participants are welcome to write on any topic relevant to the Indian IP landscape that helps foster a more transparent, collaborative, and productive IP/innovation ecosystem for India. All entries must utilise jhana.ai in at least some part of their research for the blogposts they submit, though participants are free to use other research tools and methods alongside it.
Additionally, participants and our readers can make use of a complimentary one-month Pro account on Jhana.ai to deepen and streamline their research by using the following promo code- SPICYIP. The user will have to sign-up at jhana.ai for a free trial and use the code under Account > Plans & Usage > Discount code.
