Al Tamimi & Company is acting as sole Qatari legal counsel (with Kirkland & Ellis as lead counsel) to Jahez International Company for Information System Technology (“Jahez”) on its landmark agreement to acquire a majority stake in Snoonu, a leading Qatari-based technology and on-demand delivery platform.

Under the signed Share Purchase and Subscription Agreement, Jahez will acquire 76.56% of Snoonu’s share capital, in a transaction that values Snoonu at approximately QAR 1.165 billion (USD 320 million) — marking the first time a Qatari start-up has surpassed the QAR 1 billion valuation milestone.

This transaction represents a significant cross-border investment in the region’s rapidly evolving digital economy, and Al Tamimi & Company is pleased to support Jahez in achieving this strategic step.
