Anu Tiwari to exit AZB
Anu Tiwari to exit AZB

AZB & Partners Mumbai-based financial services partner Anu Tiwari is leaving the firm.

Tiwari, a 2007 NUJS Kolkata graduate, was made partner at AZB in 2016, after having followed senior partner Ashwath Rau on his move from Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas-cum-Amarchand Mangaldas Mumbai.

Tiwari specialises in financial services transactional, advisory and regulatory work, having been involved in at least 10 transactions in 2018-19, according to our deals database.

Rau commented: “It’s been a 14-year-old association and I have seen him grow as a lawyer. He will be missed. And am sure he’ll do well.

“I will always wish him the very best.”

We have not been able to confirm at the time of publication whether Tiwari will be joining elsewhere, but have reached out to him for comment.
