The School of Law, ITM University, Gwalior focuses on combining theoretical legal education with practical exposure. It regularly organises moot court competitions, seminars, conferences, workshops, legal aid initiatives, client counselling programmes and other academic activities.
About the Moot Court Competition
The School of Law is organising the 3rd Arun Jaitley Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2026 (AJMCC 2026) from October 30 to November 1, 2026. The competition seeks to provide law students with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate their legal research, drafting, reasoning and oral advocacy skills.
Eligibility
Students enrolled in a full-time 5-year LL.B. or 3-year LL.B. programme at a university, college or institution approved by the Bar Council of India are eligible to participate.
Registrations will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Team Composition
Each participating team shall consist of three members:
- 2 Speakers/Mooters
- 1 Researcher
Registration Fee
The participation fee is ₹4,000 per team without accommodation.
Accommodation may be opted for separately by the participants.
Prizes
- Winner: ₹71,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Runner-Up: ₹51,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Best Memorial: ₹11,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Best Orator – Late Shree Mukesh Gupta Memorial Award: ₹11,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
- Best Researcher: ₹11,000 + Trophy + Certificate of Merit
Every participant will also receive a Certificate of Participation and one-month access to the SCC Online Web Edition worth ₹1,099.
