TCIL is inviting applications for an Apprenticeship Training Programme at TCIL Bhawan, New Delhi, for empanelment towards future requirement/vacancy in the legal function under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The apprenticeship training will be for a period of one year.
Vacancies
2 Legal Apprentice seats.
The number of seats indicated in the notification is tentative and is subject to increase or decrease.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must possess a three-year LL.B. degree or five-year integrated Law/LL.B. course approved by the Bar Council of India.
- Candidates who acquired the requisite qualification during/after 2022 are eligible.
- Candidates who are undergoing or have already undergone apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act elsewhere are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit
The age of candidates should be between 18 and 28 years as on 31 March 2026.
Upper-age relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be admissible as per Government of India guidelines.
Reservation
Reservation for SC/ST/OBC candidates will be followed as applicable. In case candidates are not available in reserved categories, the seats may be filled from other reserved categories/general categories in accordance with the conditions stated in the notification.
Selection Process
- Provisional selection will be merit-based.
- Final selection will be based on Interview/Verification of certificates/testimonials at the time of joining.
- Communication with candidates will be made through their registered email IDs.
Stipend
Selected Legal Apprentices will receive a monthly stipend of ₹12,300.

Delhi.
Nature of Engagement
- The engagement is for one year of apprenticeship training under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- TCIL has no obligation to provide regular employment to apprentices. Apprentices will have no right to claim regular employment with TCIL on the basis of the apprenticeship.
- Provisionally selected candidates will also be required to give an undertaking that they will not seek employment with TCIL after completion of the training.
