Eligibility Criteria
Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-II: Candidates must possess a Regular Full Time Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and must be enrolled as an advocate with the Bar Council. Candidates having a Post Graduate Degree in Law shall be preferred.
Senior Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-III: Candidates must possess a Regular Full Time Bachelor’s Degree in Law and must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council. Candidates having a Master Degree will be given preference.
The educational qualification defining eligibility should be full-time and regular and obtained from a recognised University accredited by UGC or an AICTE-approved Institute or Board recognised by the Government of India/approved by Government Regulatory Bodies.
Candidates who have completed their education through Distance Mode, Open Schooling, Part-Time Mode, Correspondence Courses or Executive MBA Mode are ineligible to apply.
Bar Council Registration Requirement
Candidates applying for both Manager-Law and Senior Manager-Law must be enrolled as an Advocate with the Bar Council.
Work Experience
- Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-II: A minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience as a Law Officer in Banks/NBFCs/FIs/Fintech is mandatory.
- Senior Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-III: A minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience working as a Law Officer in Banks/NBFCs/FIs/Fintech is mandatory.
- The prescribed qualification and post-qualification experience will be reckoned as on August 1, 2026.
- The relevant experience certificate must specifically contain experience in Banks/NBFCs/FIs/Fintech.
Age Limit
The age criteria as on August 1, 2026 are:
- Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-II: Minimum 25 years and Maximum 35 years.
- Senior Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-III: Minimum 25 years and Maximum 38 years.
Selection Process
- Online Written Examination
- Personal Interview
Candidates successful in the online written test will be called for an interview. Selection will be based on the online written test and interview, subject to the selected candidates being medically fit for the assignment.
Online Examination Pattern
The online examination for Specialist Officers will consist of 200 questions carrying 200 marks with a total duration of 145 minutes. The examination will be available in English only.
- Reasoning: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 35 Minutes
- English Language: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 35 Minutes
- General Awareness with special reference to Banking: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 20 Minutes
- Professional Knowledge: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 20 Minutes
- Quantitative Aptitude: 40 Questions, 40 Marks, 35 Minutes
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Answer Choices: Each question will have 5 options.
Cut-offs will be applied at two stages: scores in individual tests and total score.
Salary
- Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-II: Pay Scale – ₹64,820-2340/1-67,160-2680/10-93,960.
- Senior Manager-Law in Grade/Scale-III: Pay Scale – ₹85,920-2680/5-99,320-2980/2-1,05,280.
Indemnity Bond
Selected candidates in Grade/Scale-II and Grade/Scale-III will be required to execute an Indemnity Bond of ₹3.00 lakh with two sureties for a bond period of 2 years before joining the Bank.
Place of Posting
Candidates may be posted or subsequently transferred to any of the existing or proposed branches/offices of the Bank as per banking exigencies.
Application Fee
The application fee/intimation charges are ₹1,500 including GST for Scale-I, II and III. The fee is non-refundable.
Bank transaction charges for online payment of the application fee/intimation charges will be borne by the candidate.

- Candidates should select “Click here for New Registration” and enter their name, contact details and email ID to generate a Provisional Registration Number and Password.
- Candidates must upload the prescribed photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration in accordance with the specifications given in the advertisement.
- The handwritten declaration must be in the candidate’s own handwriting and in English only, subject to the provision made for visually impaired candidates in the notification.
- Candidates must carefully preview and verify the application before clicking “COMPLETE REGISTRATION”, as changes cannot be made thereafter.
- After completing the application details, candidates must proceed to the Payment tab, pay the prescribed fee and submit the application.
- A candidate can apply for only one post. In case of multiple applications, only the latest valid completed application will be retained and the fee/intimation charges paid for other registrations will be forfeited.
