It also provides healthcare and diagnostic services, consultancy and contract services for healthcare infrastructure projects, and consultancy services for the procurement of medical equipment and devices.

HLL Lifecare Limited has eight manufacturing units, three subsidiary or joint venture companies and 21 regional offices. Its products are exported to more than 85 countries.

About the Recruitment

HLL Lifecare Limited is inviting applications for the position of Associate Manager (Legal) in its Legal Department. The appointment will be made on an Executive Fixed-Term Contract basis.

Roles and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for the following work:

  • Drafting and vetting agreements, Memoranda of Understanding, lease deeds, powers of attorney, indemnity bonds, bank guarantees, consortium agreements, Expressions of Interest and tender documents.
  • Rendering legal advice and opinions in matters assigned to the Legal Department.
  • Preparing legal compliance reports and updating the status of cases on a weekly basis.
  • Managing litigation before courts, arbitral tribunals and conciliation forums.
  • Engaging advocates and legal counsel to represent and defend the company in court cases, arbitration proceedings and conciliation matters.
  • Drafting replies to legal notices and complaints.
  • Preparing documents and pleadings, including case facts, petitions, affidavits, suits, replies, rejoinders and evidence.
  • Visiting High Courts, subordinate courts, MSME tribunals and other forums in connection with company matters.
  • Holding conferences with dealing officers and company counsel in relation to pending cases.
  • Attending and handling arbitration and conciliation proceedings.
  • Examining and analysing the facts of arbitration and conciliation matters and providing the relevant information to the management and company counsel for preparing claims and counterclaims.
  • Submitting Board agendas for various HLL meetings to the directors at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess a degree in law.

Experience

Candidates must have at least one year of post-qualification experience in the corporate legal department of any of the following:

  • Central Public Sector Undertaking;
  • State Public Sector Undertaking; or
  • Large commercial organisation.

Age Limit

The maximum age limit is 37 years as of July 1, 2026.

Relaxation for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC and PwD categories will be available in accordance with the directives of the Government of India.

Salary

  • Basic Pay Range: Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 45,000
  • Approximate Gross Salary: Rs. 53,175 per month in a metro city at the minimum of the pay scale
  • Approximate Annual CTC: Rs. 7.58 lakh in a metro city at the minimum of the pay scale
