About the Job :
Dhiren Shah & Co., Ahmedabad is inviting applications for one Legal Associate position and three Assessment Intern positions, offering exposure to direct taxation, white-collar crime, and high-stakes litigation matters.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
(iv) Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in litigation.
(v) Knowledge of legal drafting and documentation.
(vi) Legal Associate applicants must be law graduates with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
Responsibility :
(i) Drafting replies to notices issued by authorities such as the Income Tax Department and the Enforcement Directorate.
(ii) Drafting appeals before the Commissioner of Income Tax , the Income Tax Appellate Tribunal, and other appellate forums.
(iii) Drafting petitions before the High Court of Gujarat and assisting in matters before the Supreme Court of India.
(iv) Conducting legal research and assisting in case strategy.
(v) Contract drafting.
(vi) Handling litigation before various tribunals and government authorities.
