
The Campus Law Centre – Journal for Legal and Policy Research (CLC-JLPR), the annual journal of the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi, has invited submissions for Volume 2. Students, academicians, practitioners, and researchers are encouraged to submit original and unpublished manuscripts across diverse areas of law and policy. About CLC-JLPR
The Campus Law Centre – Journal for Legal and Policy Research (CLC-JLPR) is the annual journal of the Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, University of Delhi. The journal was established to provide a platform for students, academicians, and practitioners across law and allied disciplines to contribute scholarship that is critical, interdisciplinary, and open to new perspectives.
Call for Submissions
CLC-JLPR is inviting original and previously unpublished manuscripts for publication in Volume 2. All submissions will undergo an initial editorial screening followed by a rigorous double-blind peer review process. The selected papers are tentatively scheduled to be published by March 2027.
The journal does not prescribe any specific theme. Authors may submit manuscripts on any area of law and its interaction with public policy, provided the work is original, analytically rigorous, and addresses contemporary legal issues.

Co-authorship is permitted. As per the notification, submissions may have up to the maximum number of authors specified by the journal.
Submission Categories and Word Limit
- Articles: 5,000–10,000 words
- Comments & Notes: 4,000–6,000 words
- Judicial Trends: 3,000–5,000 words (must analyse significant judicial pronouncements in India from 2026)
- Legislative Trends: 3,000–5,000 words (must provide a descriptive account of key legislative developments in 2026)
- Book Reviews: 1,000–2,000 words (books published within the last five years only)
Note: The prescribed word limits are inclusive of footnotes.
Submission Guidelines
- Only original and unpublished manuscripts will be considered.
- Authors must submit the complete manuscript through the designated Google Form.
- The submission must include:
- The full draft.
- A separate cover page containing author details.
- The selected submission category.
- The manuscript should not contain any identifying information to ensure an anonymous review process.
Formatting and Citation
- Font: Times New Roman
- Font Size: 12 (main text), 10 (footnotes)
- Line Spacing: 1.5 (main text), Single (footnotes)
- File Format: Microsoft Word Document
- Citation Style: Indian Law Institute (ILI) Citation Style (mandatory)
Failure to comply with the prescribed citation style may result in rejection at the initial stage.
Cover Page Requirements
The cover page should be uploaded separately and must contain:
- Title of the manuscript
- Name of the author(s)
- University/Organisation (if applicable)
- Educational qualification
- Professional status
- Acknowledgements (if any) not exceeding 300 words
Editorial Policy
- Only original and unpublished work will be considered.
- Simultaneous submission to any other publication is not permitted.
- Upon submission, the manuscript becomes the property of Campus Law Centre, University of Delhi. Any subsequent reproduction must acknowledge the original publication in CLC-JLPR.
- Authors must ensure that their work does not infringe third-party rights.
- All submissions will undergo plagiarism screening.
- Plagiarism exceeding 10% will result in rejection.
- AI-generated content is not permitted.
- The Editorial Board’s decision shall be final.
