About the Internship :
They are looking for enthusiastic, motivated, and detail-oriented 1st and 2nd-year law students (5-year integrated program or 3-year LL.B.) to join our legal practice as interns. If you are looking to build a strong foundation in legal research, drafting, and court procedures right from the start of your law school journey, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
Eligibility :
(i) Open to law students from all years of the 5-year or 3-year LL.B. programme.
(ii) Good command of English (written and verbal).
(iii) Familiarity with MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.
(iv) Strong research and analytical skills with a keen interest in litigation.
Responsibilities:
(i) Manage cases from filing to trial, ensuring timelines are met
(ii) Conduct legal research on case law and statutes
(iii) Advise clients on legal rights, risks, and case progress
(iv) Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, and briefs
(v) Handle evidence gathering, witness interviews, and discovery
(vi) Represent clients in hearings, trials, mediation, and arbitration
(vii) Negotiate settlements where appropriate
