AZB & Partners Advised Cleanmax on Apple India’s 49% Investment in Taurus
The leading law firm in India, AZB & Partners, represented Cleanmax Enviro Energy Solutions Limited and its subsidiary, Clean Max Taurus Private Limited, on the investment by Apple India Private Limited of up to a 49% stake in Taurus.
This transaction marks a key milestone in Apple’s growing presence in the renewable energy sector in India. Cleanmax is India’s largest renewable energy solutions provider for the commercial and industrial sector.
Through this investment, Apple and Cleanmax have entered into a strategic partnership for the generation of renewable energy in India.
The AZB & Partners deal team was led by Niladri Maulik (Senior Partner) and Siddharth Khanna (Partner), with support from Priyasha Goyal (Senior Associate) and Mohit Sharma (Senior Associate).
