Shri Ram College of Law, Muzaffarnagar is organising a One-Week National Workshop on Research Methodology, Research Ethics and Publication Strategy from 1st June 2026 to 6th June 2026 in online mode for faculty members, research scholars, postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and participants from diverse academic disciplines.

Shri Ram College of Law, Muzaffarnagar, a distinguished constituent institution of the Shri Ram Group of Colleges, Muzaffarnagar, Uttar Pradesh, was established in 2004 with a commitment to providing quality legal education and nurturing competent, ethical, and socially responsible legal professionals. The institution is affiliated to MSU University, Saharanpur.

About the Workshop

Many faculty members, research scholars and postgraduate students possess promising research ideas but often require structured guidance in transforming those ideas into methodologically sound high-quality academic research work. The proposed workshop seeks to address these needs through a focused and interdisciplinary academic programme.

Nature, Mode and Platform

The workshop will be organized in online mode. Live sessions will be conducted through Microsoft Teams/Google Meet. Google Classroom will be used for coordination, sharing of session links, study material, attendance forms, academic exercises, announcements and workshop-related communications.

Daily Academic Format

  • 45–60 minutes expert-led technical session.
  • 10–15 minutes interactive doubt-clearing session with the resource person.
  • Short academic exercise with the faculty coordinator to translate the session theme into practical learning.
  • Self-assessment activity/quiz to reinforce learning outcomes.

Objectives of the Workshop

  • Strengthening conceptual understanding of research methodology and developing the habit of academic inquiry.
  • Capacity building of participants in identifying research problems, formulating research questions, determining the scope and limitations of the research.
  • Highlight important aspects of doctrinal, empirical, comparative, qualitative, quantitative and multidisciplinary research approaches.
  • Promoting research ethics, academic integrity and responsible use of artificial intelligence in academic research.

The proposed workshop is intended for faculty members, research scholars, postgraduate students, early-career researchers and participants from law, humanities, social sciences, commerce, management, education, science and allied disciplines.
