
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Advised Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust On Acquisition Of Kudgi Transmission Limited
The leading law firm in India, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas acted as Buyer’s Counsel to Anzen India Energy Yield Plus Trust (represented by its trustee, Axis Trustee Services Limited and its investment manager, EAAA Real Assets Managers Limited) in relation to legal due diligence and documentation for the acquisition of 100% shareholding of Kudgi Transmission Limited from Infrastructure Yield Plus II, Infrastructure Yield Plus IIA and India Infrastructure Yield Plus II (collectively referred to as “Sellers”).
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas has undertaken:
- (i) Due diligence for the transmission asset of KTL;
- (ii) Assisted in structuring the transaction; and (iii) drafting the documentation for the transaction.
The deal structure includes both unit swaps of Anzen and cash consideration, with the final purchase consideration being subject to closing adjustments as per terms of the definitive documents.
