SkyeChip Berhad, headquartered in Penang, specialises in developing cutting-edge AI chips within the high-value front-end segment of the semiconductor value chain. The IPO raised RM352 million and boosted the company’s market capitalisation by approximately RM4.7 billion based on its opening price, which surged nearly fourfold from the IPO price. The shares recorded a strong debut, with the retail tranche oversubscribed by 95 times — the highest retail subscription rate since 2010.
