DLA Piper advised Dubai Taxi Company on National Taxi acquisition
The global law firm, DLA Piper acted as legal counsel to Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) on its approximately AED 1.45 billion acquisition of National Taxi, a UAE-based operator active in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. The transaction expands DTC’s geographic coverage across the UAE.
The acquisition strengthens Dubai Taxi Company’s operational footprint and mobility services presence across key regions in the United Arab Emirates through the integration of National Taxi’s regional operations.
The DLA Piper team was led by Will Seivewright (Partner and Head of Corporate – Middle East), with support from Mona Lemp, Alex Claybourn, and Zain Shanqiti. Specialist advice was also provided by lawyers across insurance, real estate, employment, tax, regulatory and antitrust, and public company and securities law.
