Khaitan & Co advised Chalet Hotels on acquisition of Seasons Hotels Private Limited
The India’s leading law firm, Khaitan & Co advised Chalet Hotels Limited on the acquisition of 100% stake in Seasons Hotels Private Limited, which owns a 144-room hotel “Inder Residency Resort & Spa, Udaipur” in Rajasthan, from its shareholders for a total consideration of approximately INR 171 crores.
The firm advised on the entire transaction including structuring, due diligence of the company and underlying immovable assets, assessment of material risks and mitigation factors, and drafting, negotiating, and finalising the transaction documents.
The Khaitan & Co deal team consisted of Harsh Parikh (Partner), Roshnek Darius Dhalla (Partner), Amruta Joshi (Partner), Abhijeet Kamath (Principal Associate), Sanika Shirsat (Associate), and Pratyusha Dasgupta (Associate).
Khaitan & Co also advised on employment and labour benefits aspects, litigation aspects, and corporate due diligence in relation to the transaction.
