Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Stonepeak Partners before CCI on acquisition of Castrol Group Holdings
The India’s leading law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas represented Stonepeak Partners LP before the Competition Commission of India (CCI) in seeking approval for the acquisition of 100 percent shareholding in Castrol Group Holdings Limited by a special purpose vehicle of Stonepeak. CPPIB acted as a co-investor with Stonepeak, while bp, the seller, will retain a 35 percent shareholding in Castrol following completion of the transaction.
