About the Job :
IPgyan is looking for a committed early-career legal professional with 1–2 years PQE, enrolled with a State Bar Council, and equipped with a foundational understanding of trademarks, copyrights, contracts, company law, and civil law. This role is suited for someone who values precision, research, discipline, ownership, and professional growth, and is keen to work in a practice that engages with IP, media, entertainment, and advisory-led legal work. Prior internship experience in IP, Media, and Entertainment law will be an added advantage and such candidates will be prioritised.
Eligibility :
(i) 1–2 years PQE
(ii) Enrolled with a State Bar Council
(iii) Working knowledge of TM, copyright, contract, company, and civil laws
(iv) Fluency in English, Hindi, and Bengali
(v) Familiarity with legal research platforms and AI tools
Responsibility :
(i) Conduct in-depth legal research on statutes, case laws on IP law
(ii) Analyze legal issues and provide strategic recommendations to senior management
(iii) Draft, review, and vet legal documents related to TM, copyright, contract, company, and civil laws
(iv) Assist in litigation management, including preparing briefs and case summaries
