
Gibson Dunn Expands Saudi Practice with Waleed Rasrommani Hire
The global law firm, Gibson Dunn has strengthened its Middle East presence with the addition of Waleed Rasrommani as a partner in its Riyadh office.
Rasrommani is a highly regarded corporate and M&A lawyer with extensive experience advising on complex transactions across Saudi Arabia and the broader Middle East, particularly in the energy, infrastructure, and private capital sectors. His appointment significantly enhances the firm’s M&A and private capital capabilities in the region.

Rasrommani joins from The Law Office of Megren M. Al-Shaalan in cooperation with White & Case, where he served as Managing Partner and played a key role in establishing and leading the firm’s Saudi presence. His prior experience also includes senior advisory roles at The Royal Court of Saudi Arabia, where he contributed to legal and regulatory frameworks supporting Vision 2030 projects, including NEOM, Red Sea, Qiddiya, and Amaala.
His broader experience spans roles with Latham & Watkins, alongside board and committee positions with several prominent Saudi institutions, including the General Authority for Competition and The Royal Commission for AlUla.
Gibson Dunn launched its Riyadh office in 2023 and has continued to expand its footprint, including recent strategic hires and relocation to Tadawul Tower in the King Abdullah Financial District.
