Trilegal advised Mittal-Poonawalla consortium on USD 1.65 billion acquisition of Rajasthan Royals IPL franchise
The leading full-service Indian law firm, Trilegal is advising the Lakshmi Mittal family in the Mittal-Poonawalla consortium’s proposed acquisition of a majority stake in the Rajasthan Royals IPL franchise. The transaction is valued at approximately USD 1.65 billion, with the consortium expected to acquire around a 75% stake in the franchise. The Mittal family is the lead member of the consortium.
