About the Organisers
Fast Forward Justice® is an online legal organization which aims at improving the legal education in country a registered trademark under class 41. The main motive of the organization is to enhance various skills that are basic for any law student like skills related to researching, drafting, mooting, legal writing etc. It aims to achieve this by conducting various seminars, moot courts, competitions related to law and its importance. The organization is empowered by its goal of ensuring that law is presented in its simplest form which can be understood by a layman too with no compromise on the legal education of the students. All types of opinions and reviews are welcome and accepted from all stakeholders of the field.
Law Audience® is an online legal platform and a registered trademark under class 41 which is aimed at spreading the online legal education and other opportunities related to the field of law among the legal audience as much as possible. It was introduced on the 25th of June 2018. It is an independent project, started by its founder and does not receive any funding from any person or organisation or body or government as the case maybe. It is a ‘Dream Project’ of Mr. Varun Kumar (Founder-CEO-Publishing Editor-Publisher & Owner). It is a Sole Proprietorship of Mr. Varun Kumar, S/o Shri. Lehri Singh Jaswal, S/o Late Shri. Parmeshwari Dass.
About the Competition
FastForward Justice & Law Audience’s 1st National Online Legal Essay Writing Competition 2026 is a prestigious academic initiative aimed at encouraging critical thinking, legal research, and scholarly writing among students, academicians, and legal professionals across India. The competition provides a dynamic platform for participants to express innovative ideas, analyze contemporary legal issues, and contribute to the evolving landscape of law. By fostering intellectual engagement and academic excellence, this national-level event seeks to promote legal awareness, research aptitude, and a spirit of healthy competition within the legal community.

We don’t bind you in any themes but it should be related to the field of Legal Studies.
Eligibility
- It Shall Be An Online Event.
- At Present Students/Participants Must Be Pursuing 3-years’ LL.B Course or 5-years’ LL.B Course such as B.A. LL.B, B.Com LL.B and B.B.A.LL.B etc. or 6-years LL.B Course or pursuing LL.M or Ph.D or Post Doctorate in Law;
- In One Team, Not More Than 2 Participants Are Allowed. But, However, Participants May Seek Individual Or Single Participation.
- In One Team, Participants From Different & Same Universities Or Schools Or Colleges Are Allowed.
- Students are required to upload their ID cards on the registration form such as library card, identity card or any ID issued by your college/university, if not issued then submit a letter from your department’s head stating that you’re a student at their college/university.
Registration Process
- The Registration fee for the competition is Rs.200 for single author and Rs. 250 for Team.
- The registration fee is to be paid by doing Paytm on 8262892004 or through UPI on 8262892004@pytes.
- Note: Registration fee is not refundable at all costs. It will be refundable only in a case the competition is called off by the organizing committee due to any unavoidable circumstances. (In such a case refund will be initiated in your PAYTM & BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS).
Format of the Main Text & Footnotes
- The paper must be in a single column layout with margins justified on both sides.
- The Main headings should be in font size of 14 and the subheadings should be in font size 12, bold and Times New Roman, and justified.
- The main text should be in font size 12, Normal, Times New Roman, 1.5 spacing and Justified.
- The length of the paper should not exceed 3000-4500 words (including footnotes).
- All references must be in the form of footnotes with font size 10 and 1.5 spacing and should be according to the Bluebook 19th Edition.
- Plagiarism should not be more than 10 %.
- All articles must be in doc. Or docx format.
- The page layout must be A4.
Note: Any submission in PDF form shall not be accepted.
Decision
- The decision of the organizing committee as well as will be final.
- The Evaluation must be according to the evaluation criteria.
- The Research work submitted must be original and true and must not be copied from anywhere, if found then the researcher will be liable for that himself.
- The name of the researcher’s should not be mentioned anywhere in the research-papers. A separate word file must be submitted consisting of researcher’s personal details.

- Last date of Registration: 20th April 2026
- Last date for submission of research paper: 7th May 2026
- Date of declaration of result: 1st June 2026

Note: Soft copy of the certificate of participation will be mailed to all the participants after the successful declaration of result.
