The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co advised RSB Transmissions on its proposed acquisition of approximately 76% in Setco Auto Systems Private Limited (SASPL) from Setco Automotive Limited (SAL) and India Resurgence Fund (India RF), along with a further subscription by RSB at closing to support repayment of SASPL’s existing debt. The completion of the transaction is subject to customary consents and approvals.
Khaitan & Co advised RSB Transmissions and Bain Capital on structuring, negotiations, and finalization of the definitive agreements for the transaction.
