Khaitan & Co advised Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance on INR 500 crore NCD issuance
The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co, acted as counsel to Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance Company Limited in relation to the issuance and allotment of up to 50,000 listed, rated, unsecured, redeemable, non-convertible, subordinated, fully paid-up debentures aggregating up to INR 500 crores on a private placement basis. Trust Investment Advisors Private Limited and Nuvama Wealth Management Limited acted as arrangers to the issue.
The proceeds from the issuance will be utilised to augment the Issuer’s regulatory capital in compliance with IRDAI regulations.
