The leading law firm in India, Khaitan & Co acted as legal counsel to Lulu Group in connection with the acquisition of land measuring approximately 16 acres in Ahmedabad from Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) at a consideration of INR 519 crore, for the development of a retail mall and other incidental projects. The transaction involved advising the client on reviewing, negotiating, revising, and finalising the sale deed executed with AMC.
