
Jabalpur, November 26, 2025 — Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), Jabalpur, in collaboration with the Organising Committee of the 4th World Ramayana Conference (WRC) 2026, ceremoniously released the MYRA, “Making Youth Ramayana Ambassadors” poster. The initiative aims to empower youth as carriers of civilizational knowledge, resonating with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cultural and educational vision for 2035.
The event, held under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Vice-Chancellor, DNLU and Dr. Praveen Tripathi, Registrar, DNLU, marks a strategic beginning to the grand conference scheduled from 2 to 4 January 2026 in Jabalpur. With three previously successful editions in 2016, 2020 and 2023, the World Ramayana Conference continues to evolve as an international platform for literature, culture, spiritual heritage and scholarly dialogue.
Leadership Highlights Youth-Centric Cultural Integration
Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha expressed pride in DNLU’s hosting role and emphasized the responsibility of educational institutions in connecting traditional values with contemporary learning. He reiterated the need for youth participation in Ramayana-driven discourse.
The Organising Committee team, including Shri Ajay Vishnoi (Organising Chairman), Prof. Dr. S.P. Gautam (Sub-committee Coordinator) and Dr. Akhilesh Gumasta (Organising Secretary), elaborated on the vision of MYRA, highlighting its purpose to cultivate youngsters as Ramayana ambassadors. They linked this movement to PM Modi’s statement in Ayodhya regarding India’s need to move beyond the Macaulay-influenced education framework established in 1835. Vice-Chancellors present at DNLU also discussed pathways to implement this shift.

The ceremony witnessed the gracious presence of Sadhvi Gyaneshwari Didi and Shri Jagat Bahadur Singh, Mayor of Jabalpur City.
Sadhvi Gyaneshwari Didi emphasized that the “Ramayana is a source of compassion, harmony and emotional strength for youth”. Mayor Jagat Bahadur Singh hailed “MYRA as a unifying cultural milestone that encourages pride in India’s civilizational legacy”.

MYRA Poster Launch, The Beginning of Youth-Centered Initiatives
The launch of the Youth Ramayana Online Quiz Competition poster signifies the start of a year-long youth engagement programme leading up to the 2026 conference. The event recognized DNLU as co-organiser and acknowledged its efforts in promoting culture-rooted scholarship.

Delivering the vote of thanks, Dr. Praveen Tripathi expressed gratitude to dignitaries, collaborating institutions and attendees. He reaffirmed DNLU’s dedication to expanding cultural and intellectual initiatives of national value.
