
Former Bird & Bird Middle East Head Anders Nilsson Joins Reed Smith Abu Dhabi Office
The Global law firm Reed Smith has appointed Anders Nilsson as a Partner in its Global Corporate Group. Nilsson will be based in the firm’s Abu Dhabi office, with his work extending across the Dubai and newly launched Riyadh offices.
Previously, Nilsson served as Head of Bird & Bird’s Middle East offices. He brings over 25 years of experience, including 12 years in the Middle East, specialising in corporate M&A, joint ventures, and strategic investments. His practice focuses on GCC-Africa cross-border transactions and spans sectors such as aviation, aerospace, defence, future mobility, and transport, covering the Middle East, Europe, and Africa.
