Trilegal advised Studds Accessories on INR 4,554 million IPO, India’s first two-wheeler helmet consumer brand IPO
The leading law firm in India, Trilegal acted as legal counsel to Studds Accessories, India’s largest two-wheeler helmet player by revenue in Fiscal 2024 and the world’s largest by volume in Calendar Year 2024, as well as the selling shareholders, on its initial public offering (IPO) aggregating to INR 4,554 million. This marks the first-ever IPO by a two-wheeler helmet consumer brand in India. The IPO was oversubscribed by 73.25 times.
The IPO comprised an offer for sale of 7,786,120 equity shares of face value INR 5 each, aggregating to INR 4,554.88 million, by the promoters and other existing shareholders. The Book Running Lead Managers were IIFL Capital Services Ltd and ICICI Securities Ltd.
