
Trilegal advised Wonderland Foods on its maiden fundraise from British International Investment and Asha Ventures
The leading law firm in India, Trilegal advised Wonderland Foods and its promoters on their maiden fundraise from impact investor Asha Ventures and the United Kingdom’s development finance institution, British International Investment (BII).
The funding will be utilised to drive key strategic initiatives, including setting up a ₹250 crore greenfield nuts and dry fruits processing unit in Greater Noida in partnership with the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The project is expected to create employment opportunities for over 1,000 women and further strengthen India’s food processing ecosystem.
Wonderland Foods, operated by Sun Organic Industries, was founded in 1985 and offers a wide variety of healthy snacks, including nuts, seeds, berries, dried fruits, and dates. The brand has built a robust multi-channel distribution network across both B2C and B2B segments. Its products are available on leading e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Flipkart, as well as hyperlocal grocery delivery platforms including Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and Zepto. Wonderland Foods is also present in major retail chains such as Reliance, D-Mart, Vishal Mega Mart, Lulu Super Mart, and Metro Cash & Carry.
