Dar Global Appoints Charbel Sabeh as Chief Legal Officer
Dar Global has appointed Charbel Sabeh as its new Chief Legal Officer, marking a key addition to its leadership team amid its expanding global operations.
Sabeh joins the luxury real estate developer after more than two years at Clyde & Co, where he served as a senior associate in the Riyadh office. Before that, he spent nearly four years with Al Tamimi & Company. His new role also marks his return to an in-house position, having previously served as legal counsel at RAFAL Real Estate Development Company.
Speaking to Law Middle East, Sabeh said,
“I am truly excited about this new role and the challenges it brings.”
He said in an interview,
“What makes this opportunity particularly compelling is that Dar Global is not only a listed UK plc, but also operates at the intersection of my core expertise, which is real estate development and hospitality. The company is rapidly growing and reshaping the landscape of luxury living, and I am proud to be part of that journey, with such an amazing team led by our CEO Ziad El Chaar.”
Dar Global recently established its Regional Headquarters (RHQ) in Riyadh, following approval of its RHQ licence by the Ministry of Investment of Saudi Arabia (MISA). From this base, the company will lead and manage its global operations.
Saudi Arabia is preparing to introduce a new foreign ownership law in January 2026, which will allow foreign individuals and companies to own property in designated areas of the Kingdom. Anticipating these changes, Dar Global aims to play a prominent role in the evolving real estate market and has already revealed plans for a $1 billion Trump-branded tower in Jeddah.
Based in Riyadh, Sabeh will oversee Dar Global’s legal function internationally, with a strong focus on operations in Saudi Arabia.
Dar Global has been listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) since 2023. The listing was handled by Norton Rose Fulbright, with a cross-border team from London and Dubai.
