Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP has announced the addition of Sarah Kahn (Partner) to its Corporate practice group and Aerospace, Defense & Government Services (ADG) industry team in Washington, D.C. Kahn, who was previously Co-Chair of DLA Piper LLP’s Aerospace, Defense and Government Services Transactional practice, brings more than 20 years of experience in leading complex cross-border mergers and acquisitions.

Her notable experience includes leading multiple transactions for a global aerospace and defense company, such as its $1.925 billion acquisition of a military global positioning systems business and a $1.05 billion acquisition of a military training business for a Canada-based simulation and training company.
Commenting on the appointment, Luca Salvi (Chair of Sheppard Mullin) said: “The aerospace, defense and government services industry has long been a strategic focus for the firm, and we are thrilled to have someone with Sarah’s experience join our team.
