Bhopal, India – People United for Law, Education and Rehabilitation (PULER), a student-led initiative of the National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal, has launched the Parvarish Scheme, a transformative step aimed at ensuring that talented children are not forced to give up their education due to financial hardships.
From Mendora Village to Bhopal: The Journey of PULER
PULER’s journey began in Mendora Village, where students of NLIU supported primary education through creative and consistent teaching. Over time, this small beginning grew into a deeper commitment—one that now empowers children to continue their studies beyond primary school.
What is the Parvarish Scheme?
The Parvarish Scheme is designed to help bright and hardworking students of Mendora School from Class 6 to Class 12 continue their education at Sharda Vihar School, Bhopal. The average annual cost for each child ranges from ₹26,000 to ₹30,000.
Supporters can contribute individually, collectively, or through periodic contributions—making the scheme flexible and inclusive. More than just financial aid, Parvarish envisions supporters as mentors, guides, and extended family, nurturing children with care, consistency, and compassion.
Transparency and Merit at the Core
PULER ensures that the benefits of the scheme reach deserving children through a merit-based pool created by objective assessments. Contributors will also receive transparent updates on fund utilization as well as the academic and holistic growth of the children.
This approach not only addresses financial constraints but also fosters a sense of belonging, hope, and encouragement among the children—helping them dream bigger without economic barriers standing in their way.
Backed by the NLIU Community
The initiative has the full support of the Student Bar Association (SBA) and the broader National Law Institute University, Bhopal community. Together, they extend an invitation to individuals and organizations who wish to contribute to this noble cause.
A Call for Shared Responsibility
Importantly, the Parvarish Scheme is not positioned as charity. Instead, it is a call for shared responsibility—a belief in the potential of every child, and a commitment to walk alongside them in their journey of growth and learning.
With the combined efforts of PULER, SBA, and the NLIU community, the hope is that more individuals will come forward, ensuring that no child has to choose between their dreams and financial dues.
