DNLU Jabalpur Successfully Hosts India Juris–DNLU National Moot Court Competition 2025

Jabalpur, September 14, 2025 — Dharmashastra National Law University (DNLU), under the leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kumar Sinha, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor, and Dr. Praveen Tripathi, Registrar, successfully hosted the much-anticipated India Juris–DNLU National Moot Court Competition 2025. The prestigious event, organized by the Moot Court Committee (MCC) of DNLU, brought together some of the brightest legal minds from across the country to showcase their talent in research, drafting, and advocacy.

A Platform for Future Legal Leaders

The competition began with intense memorial evaluations, from which the top 20 teams advanced to the oral rounds. Participants impressed the panel with their sharp legal arguments, critical thinking, and refined advocacy skills, creating an atmosphere of intellectual vibrancy and healthy competition.

Esteemed Guests Grace the Finals

The Final Round and Valedictory Ceremony were graced by the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Shri Justice Vivek Agarwal, Judge, High Court of Madhya Pradesh, Hon’ble Shri Justice Dev Narayan Mishra, Judge, High Court of Madhya Pradesh, and Mr. Shivram Ganesan, Associate Partner at India Juris. Their profound insights, words of encouragement, and deep understanding of the law inspired the participants and elevated the proceedings, adding immense value to the competition with their perspectives on advocacy and legal excellence.

Winners and Runners-Up

In a fiercely contested finale, Manipal Law School, Bangalore emerged as the champions of the India Juris–DNLU National Moot Court Competition 2025. National Law Institute University (NLIU), Bhopal secured the runners-up position. Both teams impressed with their persuasive arguments and legal acumen.

A Step Beyond the Competition

Following the event, Justice Vivek Agarwal visited DNLU’s upcoming new campus site, where he reviewed the progress of the construction projects and also planted saplings, symbolizing growth and sustainability for the institution’s future.

The seamless execution of the event was made possible under the guidance of Dr. Praveen Tripathi (Registrar) and Shri Shashank Pathak (Faculty In-Charge). Their efforts were supported by Mr. Bimlendu Tripathi, Associate at India Juris and proud alumnus of DNLU, as well as the dedicated Moot Court Committee led by Mr. Ashish Patel (Convenor).

Their meticulous planning and tireless efforts ensured that the competition not only celebrated excellence but also strengthened DNLU’s position as a hub for nurturing future legal professionals.
