Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Advent on global acquisition of Sapiens International
The leading Indian law firm, Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas advised Advent on the Indian legal aspects of its global acquisition of Sapiens International Corporation N.V (“Sapiens International”). Advent has entered into agreements to acquire a majority shareholding in Sapiens International, a global leader in intelligent SaaS-based software solutions for the insurance industry.
As part of the transaction, Advent will also acquire Sapiens Technologies (1982) India Private Limited (“Sapiens India”), a subsidiary of Sapiens International.
The transaction was led by Vandana Sekhri (Partner) and Siddharth Vedula (Partner), with support from Kabeer Jay (Associate) and Kanishka Iyer (Associate).
Bishen Jeswant (Partner), with support from Rohini Dayalan (Associate) and Rachita Shah (Associate), assisted in employment aspects of the transaction.
