About the GNLU – Panag & Babu Certificate Course on White Collar Crimes
GNLU, in collaboration with Panag & Babu, is pleased to announce the first edition of the Certificate Course on White Collar Crimes. The course is designed for 3rd/4th/5th-year LL.B. students, LL.M. students, and Ph.D. scholars in Law or allied disciplines, aiming to build a strong foundation in white-collar crime practice.
The course will provide 18+ hours of classroom training delivered by leading lawyers from the Law Offices of Panag & Babu alongside GNLU academicians. Participants will gain exposure to both theoretical insights and practical aspects of handling white-collar crime cases in a law firm environment.
Course Highlights
- Understanding the entire life-cycle of a white-collar crime case: commission, detection, investigation, defence strategies, and adjudication.
- In-depth analysis of corporate frauds, insider trading, securities frauds, and the Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regime.
- Study of the role and functioning of regulatory agencies, their powers, jurisdiction, and procedures in white-collar investigations.
- Investigation techniques including forensic audits and digital evidence collection.
