GLA & Co advised Cognita Schools Limited on the strategic acquisition of EduReach’s Qatar operations
The leading law firm GLA & Co acted as Qatar local counsel to Cognita Schools Limited (“Cognita”) in connection with its strategic partnership with the EduReach group, marking Cognita’s entry into three new Middle Eastern markets: the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sultanate of Oman, and the State of Qatar. Through this transaction, Cognita acquired five premium schools across these jurisdictions, including King’s College Doha in Qatar. Previously operated by EduReach, King’s College Doha now forms part of Cognita’s worldwide portfolio of over 100 schools across 20 countries, educating more than 100,000 students. With this acquisition, Cognita expands its Middle East presence to 14 schools, building on its established foundation in the UAE and Kuwait.
