
Sidley advised Boroo on debut US$300 million high-yield notes offering
Sidley has advised Boroo Pte Ltd (“Boroo”) as international counsel on New York and U.S. federal securities law in connection with its debut issuance of US$300 million 9.5% senior notes due 2032, issued pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the U.S. Securities Act.
Boroo, a Singapore-headquartered mining company, operates and develops gold and copper mining assets in South America and Central Asia. Its flagship asset, the Lagunas Norte gold mining complex, is one of the largest gold mines in Peru.
J.P. Morgan acted as sole global coordinator and joint bookrunner, while ING Bank acted as joint bookrunner.
