
Trilegal advised ARCIL on Filing of DRHP for Proposed IPO
The leading Indian law firm Trilegal advised Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited (ARCIL) on the filing of its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI), marking a significant step in ARCIL’s journey towards its proposed initial public offering (IPO).
ARCIL, India’s first asset reconstruction company established in 2002, is also one of the largest in the sector, with a diversified portfolio comprising corporate, SME, and retail loans. It is sponsored by Avenue Capital and State Bank of India.
The IPO is poised to be a landmark in the Indian distressed asset space, with ARCIL potentially becoming the first ARC to be listed on Indian stock exchanges.
Trilegal also advised State Bank of India in its capacity as Sponsor and Selling Shareholder, highlighting the firm’s capability in handling complex capital market transactions involving multiple stakeholders.
