
Trilegal Advised on the Proposed Initial Public Offering of Amagi Media Labs
The leading Indian law firm Trilegal advised on the proposed initial public offering (IPO) of Amagi Media Labs. The proposed IPO comprises a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to INR 10,200 million and an offer for sale by certain selling shareholders of the company. Trilegal acted as the Indian legal counsel to the book running lead managers — Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, Citigroup Global Markets India Private Limited, Goldman Sachs (India) Securities Private Limited, IIFL Capital Services Limited (formerly IIFL Securities Limited), and Avendus Capital Private Limited.
Amagi is a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) company that connects media companies to their audiences through cloud-native technology. Its platform enables content providers and distributors to deliver video over the internet through smart televisions, smartphones, and applications, instead of traditional cable or set-top box services. The platform also facilitates monetization through targeted advertising services, integrating production, preparation, distribution, and monetization workflows into a single window to help customers reduce complexity, improve operational efficiency, and increase content revenue.
