GLA & Company advised Digitus on Kuwait’s Google Data Center Expansion

GLA & Company advised Digitus DC, a leading provider of data center and digital infrastructure solutions and a subsidiary of Hayat for Communications K.S.C.P., on its multi-year agreement with Google Cloud Services Company SPC Kuwait. The agreement involves providing colocation hosting space with a capacity of several megawatts for Google at the project site in the Al-Mutlaa area, Kuwait, and is valued at up to USD 50 million.

This strategic deal is a key part of the Kuwaiti government’s broader initiative to expand digital infrastructure, including the construction of three new Google data centers, as recently approved by Kuwaiti authorities in partnership with Google. The total deal value between Google and the State of Kuwait is estimated to exceed USD 1 billion, highlighting the scale and importance of this development.
