Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas Welcomes Iqbal Khan as Partner in Corporate Practice
Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM) has announced the joining of Iqbal Khan as a Partner in the Corporate Practice. He will be based at the firm’s Mumbai office and joins along with his team.
Iqbal brings with him extensive experience advising leading global financial sponsors and strategic investors on sophisticated cross-border and domestic transactions. His practice focuses on private equity investments, private and public M&A, joint ventures, and foreign investment laws. Over the years, he has played a key role in numerous multibillion-dollar deals across a wide range of sectors including life sciences, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, media and entertainment, technology, financial services, consumer products, data center services, manufacturing, and green investments.
Iqbal has been consistently ranked among the top M&A and private equity lawyers in India by renowned legal directories. He holds a J.D. from Columbia Law School, where he was a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and an LL.B. from the London School of Economics and Political Science. He is dual-qualified in India and admitted to the New York Bar. His prior international experience includes working with Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.
