Danna Er joins Addleshaw Goddard as Partner to expand ASEAN infrastructure and disputes practice

Danna Er joins the firm from Eldan Law, further reinforcing Addleshaw Goddard’s regional and international construction and commercial disputes capabilities.

Danna, a seasoned construction and commercial disputes lawyer, is dual qualified in New York and Singapore. She specialises in high-value international arbitrations (SIAC, ICC, LCIA, ICDR), court proceedings, mediations, and adjudications across infrastructure, energy, and construction projects in Asia. A qualified adjudicator, she also advises on contract documentation to mitigate dispute risks.

She joins Addleshaw Goddard from Singapore-based Eldan Law and previously worked with the construction and international arbitration teams at Pinsent Masons and Clyde & Co.

Danna has consistently been recognised by leading legal directories including Legal 500, Lexology Index (Who’s Who Legal), Benchmark Litigation, Asian Legal Business, Asialaw, Doyle’s Guide, Singapore Business Review, and Lawyer Monthly for her expertise in construction and commercial disputes.

Her appointment complements that of Chanaka Kumarasinghe, who joined the firm last June as a construction and energy disputes partner, bringing the number of partners in the Singapore office to five. Danna will also lead the firm’s Korea Business Group, aligning with Addleshaw Goddard’s plans to reinforce its presence in South Korea.

Chanaka Kumarasinghe, Head of the Singapore office at Addleshaw Goddard, said:

“We are delighted that Danna has joined us in Singapore, bringing with her over 15 years of experience in the construction sector, both domestic and international. Danna will in particular take the lead in expanding our Korea practice. These are exciting times for us in Singapore and the region, and we are pleased that Danna is now part of this.”

Jonathan Tattersall, Head of Asia at Addleshaw Goddard, added:

“Danna is someone we have admired for a long time and will help continue AG’s growth in Singapore and Asia more broadly. Her practice fits perfectly with AG’s global Construction & Engineering Group, becoming our 33rd partner in the Group. Her reputation in the Singapore market as a ‘go to’ and dynamic construction disputes lawyer is well deserved and a major asset for AG.”

Danna Er, Partner at Addleshaw Goddard, said:

“The firm has a stellar international reputation in construction, and the global construction practice operates as a cohesive team to deliver high-quality outcomes for clients. I am excited to join Addleshaw Goddard.”

Her appointment comes at a time of continued growth for Addleshaw Goddard, following the opening of its 20th office in Warsaw as part of its AG2030 strategy, which targets £1 billion in revenue over the next five years.
